About Counselling
Counselling offers a safe and supportive space to explore what’s going on for you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need to talk things through, it can help you better understand your thoughts and feelings, make sense of experiences, and begin to move forward.
It’s not about advice or quick fixes, it’s about being truly heard, without judgement. Together, we work at your pace, gently untangling what’s been held inside.
My Approach
My work is integrative and rooted in compassion. I draw from different therapeutic models, but the relationship between us is at the heart of everything — a space where you can feel safe, understood, and respected.
I’m especially influenced by Compassion-Focused Therapy, person-centred values, and my own journey with body image and emotional wellbeing. I bring a grounded, holistic perspective, and believe that connecting mind and body is essential in healing.
Who I Work With
I work with adults who are experiencing emotional distress, uncertainty, or simply need space to feel heard and understood. You may be feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed or stuck. Perhaps you're navigating difficult life transitions such as grief, loss, relationship breakdowns, or identity changes.
You might be dealing with depression, anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress, and struggling to find clarity or connection. You may feel like you're carrying too much—past pain, shame, self-criticism, or the pressure of always having to hold it together for others.
Whether you're facing something recent or carrying something from long ago, counselling can provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what’s going on and begin to find a path forward.
What to Expect
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place either online or in-person in a quiet, private space. You lead the pace, and we work collaboratively. I won’t judge, diagnose, or tell you what to do — I’ll walk alongside you as we explore things together.
I’m currently a student member of the BACP and in the final stages of completing my clinical hours. This means I’m working ethically, under supervision, and in line with the BACP Ethical Framework.
Everything you share is treated in confidence (with some exceptions around safety, which I’ll explain before we begin). You can read more in my Counselling Policies and FAQs.
